UN condemns Russia’s annexation move: How did countries vote?

The United Nations Normal Meeting condemned Moscow’s try to annex 4 areas of Ukraine final month in a worldwide present of anger in direction of President Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

In whole, 143 international locations backed Wednesday’s decision reaffirming Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity. Thirty-five international locations abstained from voting, whereas 5 international locations with shut ties to Russia voted towards it.
