A Dalit journalist explores the connection between caste, land, and abuses of energy in Nepal.
Sona Khatik, a younger Nepalese journalist, investigates tales on sexual violence towards Dalit ladies. As she reviews on one lady’s loss of life, she displays upon her personal life.
She is aware of first-hand how violence is entrenched within the lives of Dalit ladies. However she just isn't afraid to problem these in energy, maintain them to account and convey about change. And within the battle towards discrimination, Khatik sees land possession as a weapon of change.
“With out land, we’ll at all times be oppressed by the higher castes. All our struggles are related to the query of land,” she says defiantly.
