79-year-old woman struck and killed by city bus in Brooklyn

A 79-year-old lady was struck and killed by a metropolis bus as she crossed a Brooklyn avenue Thursday evening, police stated.

The lady was strolling throughout Flatbush Avenue close to Brooklyn Faculty round 6:20 p.m. when she stepped in entrance of an MTA bus and was hit, in line with the NYPD.

The bus was touring northbound on Flatbush Avenue and struck into the girl because the car was making a left onto Glenwood Street, cops stated.
