Brendan Fraser received emotional — once more — throughout one more standing ovation for his position in “The Whale.”
After the screening of the film on the BFI London Movie Competition on Tuesday, the viewers gave a five-minute standing ovation, in line with the Day by day Mail.
The 53-year-old actor broke down in tears as he bowed to the British Movie Institute viewers’s cheers and applause.
This isn’t the primary time Fraser was moved to waterworks by a standing ovation. On the Venice Worldwide Movie Competition in early September, he received emotional throughout a six-minute standing ovation for his efficiency within the Darren Aronofsky-directed film.
Viewers members received déjà vu from the standing O.

In Aronofsky’s psychological drama “The Whale,” Fraser performs a 600-pound homosexual man in a wheelchair. His character tries to reconnect along with his estranged teenage daughter, performed by “Stranger Issues” star Sadie Sink, after he deserted his household for his lover.
The movie marks “The Mummy” actor’s comeback to Hollywood following a battle with despair after a former Hollywood Overseas Press Affiliation president allegedly sexually assaulted him in 2003.
“The Whale” can be launched in theaters on Dec. 9.
