Off-duty NYC Correction officer hit by stray bullet in Queens

An off-duty metropolis Correction officer was grazed by a stray bullet whereas driving alongside the Cross Island Parkway in Queens, authorities stated.

The 40-year-old officer was heading southbound on the parkway on the Lengthy Island Expressway in a non-public car, shortly after 11 a.m. Saturday, when he was hit, an NYPD spokesman stated.
