In October 2021, Turkish safety providers arrested 15 brokers suspected of working for Israel’s spy company Mossad working in a number of cities. Then in December 2022, they arrested 44 extra individuals for allegedly leaking data to Mossad.
Tamer Almisshal of Al Jazeera Arabic goes to Istanbul to discover the again story of those arrests, how these brokers had been first recognized after which allegedly recruited by Mossad – and the way the Turkish authorities had been tipped off and launched a months-long covert operation to trace them down.
