The Goldman Sachs banker convicted within the $4.5 billion 1MDB embezzlement scheme is suing his former boss for fraud and $130 million damages.
Roger Ng, who's interesting his April conviction, says Tim Leissner — an accused “double bigamist” and the estranged husband of Kimora Lee Simmons — lied repeatedly to steal money and shares in Celsius Holdings, an power drink firm, and Sentient Applied sciences Holdings, a man-made intelligence enterprise, based on the Manhattan Supreme Courtroom lawsuit.
Leissner, who pleaded responsible within the 1MDB case and agreed to testify in opposition to Ng as the federal government’s star witness, used the cash to pay for his personal bail and fulfill a felony forfeiture in an earlier case, Ng stated in courtroom papers.
Ng contends within the swimsuit that he wants the cash to pay for his enchantment.
“Ng is within the unimaginable place of getting to defend himself in opposition to allegations made by the one that defrauded him and who stole the cash that … Ng must defend in opposition to those self same allegations,” the swimsuit alleges.
Ng was accused of working with Leissner and flamboyant Malaysian financier Jho Low to divert $4.5 billion from Malaysia’s 1MDB fund. He and Leissner are to be sentenced in February.
Leissner’s legal professionals didn't instantly return a request for remark.
