Japan tightens Russia sanctions, expands export ban list

Japan has tightened its sanctions towards Russia following its newest wave of missile assaults in Ukraine, including items to an export ban checklist and freezing the belongings of Russian officers and entities.

The choice on Friday comes after Russia launched missile assaults throughout Ukraine on Thursday, killing no less than 11 folks, following a pledge by Germany and the US to produce tanks that would assist Kyiv counter a brand new Russian offensive.
