NYC subway attacker breaks nose of random straphanger: cops

A straphanger had his nostril randomly damaged by a stranger on a Bronx subway, cops mentioned Sunday.  

The incident occurred on a No. 5 prepare round 2 p.m. Friday when the 39-year-old sufferer was approached by his muttering assailant, cops mentioned.

The suspect advised the sufferer to “Cease speaking s–t,” a police spokesman mentioned.

A cop supply mentioned the assault was “only a random assault. 

“He’s most likely listening to one thing in his head,” the supply mentioned of the suspect.

The attacker then grabbed the sufferer’s mobile phone “and proceeded to throw it on the sufferer earlier than punching him in regards to the head,” breaking his nostril, cops mentioned.

The attacker fled the prepare on the East Tremont Avenue-West Farms station. EMS took the sufferer to Saint Barnabas Hospital in steady situation.
