The MTA, in a press release Monday night time, known as the demise a “horrible accident.”

“Whereas the investigation is in its earliest levels, it seems this was a horrible accident that didn't contain felony exercise,” the MTA stated.

“An individual on the tracks was hit by a practice and our ideas are along with his household, the practice operator and riders who witnessed this tragedy. We'll get to the trigger and study any classes that will emerge as there isn't a increased precedence than security.”
