Two NYPD officers allegedly assaulted in Manhattan subway station

Two NYPD officers had been assaulted after they confronted a person standing too near a subway platform, police mentioned.

The officers had been patrolling the Park Place station on the 2-3 line in Decrease Manhattan at 4 p.m. once they requested the straphanger to maneuver again from the platform edge.

He turned combative and began kicking the officers, who positioned him below arrest.

One officer suffered a sprained wrist and ache to his shin and the opposite had wrist ache. They had been each taken to Lenox Hill Hospital in steady situation, the NYPD mentioned.
