Vulgar words spray-painted on NYPD van during Queens community event

A vandal spray-painted a vulgarity on the window of an NYPD van in Queens over the weekend as its officers had been attending a group occasion, police mentioned.

The van was parked within the Astoria Homes public housing advanced when the vandalism occurred Saturday, cops mentioned.

After the occasion, the officers found “SMD,” which stands for a revolting time period, in white lettering on the van’s driver’s facet home windows.

Police are investigating the incident.
