As India undertakes an unlimited digitisation push throughout the nation, the federal government is now planning to roll out new digital IDs in Indian-administered Kashmir. Whereas authorities say the brand new database would enhance entry to social welfare advantages, many Muslim Kashmiris see it as an try and exert additional management over their lives.
