Republicans in Arizona county refuse to certify 2022 election

Republican officers in a single Arizona county stated Monday they won't certify the 2022 election outcomes which have Democrats profitable races for governor, US Senate and different statewide places of work — organising a showdown with the Democratic secretary of state and governor-elect, who vowed to sue if the deadline was missed.

“The Board of Supervisors had the entire data they wanted to certify this election and didn't uphold their duty for Cochise voters,” Sophia Solis, a spokeswoman for Hobbs, stated in an e-mail to the Related Press.

State Elections Director Kori Lorick despatched a letter to the nation supervisors final week warning that their claims have emerged from “baseless conspiracies.”

In Mohave County, Republicans postponed a certification vote till Thursday after listening to from residents about issues with poll printers in Maricopa County, which incorporates Phoenix.
