Texas kite surfer rescued while clinging to wooden debris off Gulf Coast

A kite surfer was rescued off the Texas Gulf Coast on Saturday afternoon after he obtained stranded and not using a life jacket, in response to the Coast Guard. 

Somebody referred to as 911 shortly after midday to report a person holding on to a chunk of wooden within the water close to Galveston Bay. 

Two Coast Guard rescue boats had been dispatched to the scene and pulled the person out of the water earlier than transporting him to fireplace division personnel for remedy.
