Thief steals car with 1-year-girl inside in the Bronx

A automotive thief who stole a car with a 1-year-old woman contained in the again seat is being sought by police within the Bronx Monday.

The kid was at the back of a light-weight blue Toyota Highlander that was left operating on Bronxwood Avenue close to East 224th Road when an unknown individual hopped behind the wheel of the automotive and drove off with the child inside at about 5:30 p.m., police stated.

A 1-year-old woman was discovered protected after the automotive she was inside was stolen within the Bronx.

Quickly after, police recovered the Highlander on East Gun Hill Highway. The little woman was inside and was unhurt, in keeping with cops.

The suspect stays at giant and the investigation is ongoing.
