Bodycam footage shows NYPD cops rescuing man who fell onto subway tracks

Pulse-pounding bodycam footage captures the second two NYPD cops patrolling a Brooklyn subway station rescued a person who fell onto the tracks this week. 

The temporary clip, posted to Twitter by Commissioner Keechant Sewell, reveals the officers working alongside the Grant Avenue A practice platform to the spot the place the 50-year-old man was struggling to hoist himself again onto the platform round 4 p.m. Tuesday.

One other straphanger factors out the person to Officers Georin Duran and Irwin Luperon earlier than the duo in blue seize him by the arms and pull him to security, the video reveals.

“Strategically deployed @NYPD75Pct officers have been on the platform in Brooklyn’s Grant Ave practice station when a straphanger fell onto the tracks,” Sewell wrote. “They instantly jumped into motion, pulling the person to security.”
