St. John’s rolls past New Hampshire for 10th win of season

David Jones’ 20 factors helped St. John’s defeat New Hampshire 64-51 on Saturday night time at Carnesecca Area.

Jones added 12 rebounds, 4 steals, and three blocks for the Purple Storm (10-1). Joel Soriano scored 14 factors and added 14 rebounds. AJ Storr recorded 13 factors and shot 5 for 9, together with 3 for 4 from past the arc.

The Wildcats (3-6) had been led in scoring by Matt Herasme, who completed with 14 factors and 10 rebounds. Clarence O. Daniels II added 11 factors, 11 rebounds and two steals for New Hampshire. Ridvan Tutic completed with 10 factors and 7 rebounds.

St. John’s carried a slim three-point lead into halftime, as Jones led the way in which with 9 factors. St. John’s outscored New Hampshire by 10 factors over the ultimate half, whereas Jones led the way in which with a team-high 11 second-half factors.
