The famed avenue artist created the enterprise card for Phyllis Swan and her associate, designer Isaia Rankin, within the Nineteen Eighties for his or her Decrease East Aspect clothes retailer “Fertility,” Swan claims in courtroom papers.
The cardboard, on which Basquiat scrawled the names of Swan, Rankin and the shop, was stolen and ended up within the possession of Rankin’s former worker, in accordance with the litigation.
