NBA star forward — and passionate sneakerhead — P.J. Tucker of the Miami Heat and wife Tracy just scored a waterfront rental home in Miami. It was last asking $25,000 a month.
The Heat baller is also well known for his sneaker collection. He honored the late fashion icon Virgil Abloh, of Louis Vuitton, by sporting a pair of Off-White Jordan 5s with a personal tribute to Abloh to a game shortly after the designer’s death last month.
Tucker’s new home is in the gated community Gables Estates, which singer Pharrell, healthcare billionaire Mike Fernandez and fellow Heat star Alonzo Mourning have called home.
“Our move to Miami came about very quickly,” Tracy told Gimme. “This property met several of our top needs, including safety and proximity to schools for our children. The incredible views of Biscayne Bay sealed the deal and we love coming home to them every day.”
Built in 1968, it sits on 0.92 acres and last traded in 1989.
Its current estimated worth is $30 million, brokers say, and the home’s estimated value is $30 million. It boasts 7,343 square feet, five bedrooms and 4½ bathrooms.
There’s also a large chef’s kitchen, a formal dining room, two living rooms and a three-car garage.
The property also has a covered deck and pool — along with 100 feet on Biscayne Bay.
The Tuckers also customized the home, including a closet for his vast sneaker collection, our spies said.
Broker Techrin Hijazi of Brown Harris Stevens repped Tucker.
