2 killed when BMW plunges off parkway, onto Amtrak tracks in NYC: cops

Two folks have been killed when a BMW hurtled over a parkway barrier and landed on Amtrak prepare tracks in Higher Manhattan early Monday, cops mentioned. 

The BMW driver was heading south on the Henry Hudson Parkway round 1:45 a.m. when the motorist began to lose management and went over a barrier at West 178th Road — plunging onto the Amtrak tracks about 500 toes beneath, cops and police sources mentioned. 

One unidentified individual was discovered lifeless contained in the automotive, which turned engulfed in flames, in accordance with authorities and the sources.

The motive force, a 39-year-old man, was thrown from the car and located lifeless on the scene, cops mentioned.
