Suspected shoplifter swings screwdriver at Bronx store employee: video

A violent shoplifter attacked a Bronx retailer worker with a screwdriver after he caught her swiping garments, cops mentioned Monday.

The lady was making an attempt to cover the garments she deliberate to pilfer from the Cee Cee division retailer on East 149th Avenue on Feb. 16 when a 55-year-old male employee confronted her, cops mentioned. 

Video exhibits the suspect swinging wildly on the employee with a screwdriver in hand, knocking over some slippers hanging on the wall through the scuffle.

The NYPD is on the lookout for this girl after she attacked a gross sales clerk who tried to stop her from shoplifting on February 16, 2022.

Based on the shop proprietor, the girl made off with $30 price of clothes.
