South Korean diplomat sucker-punched in unprovoked NYC attack

A South Korean diplomat was slugged within the face in an unprovoked assault on a Manhattan sidewalk Wednesday night time, sources stated.

The 53-year-old sufferer was strolling with a buddy when he was randomly attacked by a person on Fifth Avenue close to East thirty fifth Road at about 8:10 p.m., police sources stated.

Sources stated the sufferer, who allegedly didn't say something to the assailant, confirmed his diplomatic ID throughout the assault.

The diplomat was hospitalized with a damaged nostril, sources stated.

The alleged attacker fled on foot in direction of Sixth Avenue. No arrests had been instantly reported.
