Trump attacks Dem NY gerrymander, blasts GOP inaction: ‘We’ll lose 4 seats’

Former President Donald Trump scorched Democrats’ aggressive redistricting efforts in New York and throughout the nation in a livid Saturday assertion to supporters.

“Republicans are getting completely creamed with the phony redistricting happening everywhere in the Nation,” he emailed by means of his Save America PAC.

“We had been anticipating to do properly in New York and now, we’ll lose 4 seats,” he griped — referring to the state’s new congressional map that has Empire State Republicans crying foul.

The important thing eleventh District, which encompasses Staten Island and components of Brooklyn, was redrawn this week to interchange conservative neighborhoods like Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights with the blue bastions of Park Slope, Sundown Park and Gowanus — a boundary change that would oust Trump ally Rep. Nicole Malliotakis from Congress in November.

In the meantime, in Republican-majority states like Ohio and North Carolina, courts have overturned new maps that had been claimed to be overly beneficiant to the GOP.

Trump forged blame on Republicans for permitting the Democrats’ gerrymandering to plow ahead.

“The Outdated Damaged-Down Crow, Mitch McConnell, sits again and does nothing to assist the Social gathering,” he sneered.

A gaggle of 14 New York voters filed a lawsuit Thursday in opposition to Gov. Kathy Hochul and different state officers, alleging that the new district traces she signed into regulation this week are unconstitutional.
