The horrific tragedy unfolded after Dejah Bennet and her boyfriend arrived along with her son to a grocery store within the Chicago suburb of Dolton on Saturday, WLS reported, citing police.

Whereas within the parking zone, the kid was within the backseat of the automotive and started taking part in with the firearm when it discharged, the report stated.

The bullet struck Bennet within the neck. She was pronounced useless quickly after.

The boy’s father, Romell Watson, was arrested and later charged with a misdemeanor gun cost, WLS stated in an up to date report.
