Spotify hit by widespread technical problems

Spotify was experiencing widespread technical issues Tuesday, with customers complaining of entry points throughout its app and Web page.

Person complaints about Spotify started to spike at round 1:10 p.m. ET, in response to monitoring website DownDetector.com. It was not instantly clear what brought about the technical issues. Within the US, the problems reported had been concentrated in New York and Los Angeles.

Among the many errors encountered by customers was a message saying that their username and password had been incorrect. One other one, which displayed when Spotify customers tried to launch songs on the corporate’s website, stated, “We’re all combined up. Refresh this web page or attempt once more later. It might take a while to get issues up once more.” On Spotify’s cellular app, customers noticed a message saying, “You’ve been logged out. Log again in to start out listening.”

“One thing’s not fairly proper, and we’re trying into it. Thanks on your studies!” the Spotify Standing account on Twitter posted at 1:22 p.m. ET.
