A sequence of tornados that touched down north of Austin, Texas injured 23 folks and left a path of destruction of their wake on Tuesday.
One tornado that tore via Bell Nation round 6 p.m. traveled a complete of seven miles on the bottom and ripped aside properties within the rural space, leaving “not a lot left,” County Choose David Blackburn instructed KXAS-TV.
“Bushes, giant timber uprooted, overturned, stripped,” Blackburn instructed the outlet.
“Buildings actually lowered to rubble in lots of places. Powerlines, energy poles scattered everywhere. It’s fairly devastating.”
Of the injured Texans, 12 folks remained hospitalized — one critically, and 11 have been handled and launched or refused medical consideration, the decide instructed the station.
No deaths have been reported.
