A federal grand jury has indicted accused subway gunman Frank James for committing a terrorist assault on a mass transit system, against the law that might lead to life in jail if he's convicted.

The indictment, handed up in Brooklyn federal court docket Friday, additionally accuses James of firing a gun throughout a violent crime. If convicted of that rely, James faces a compulsory minimal sentence of 10 years in jail and a most of life.

If discovered responsible, the federal government will search forfeiture of James’ property, together with a 9 mm Glock pistol seized in Brooklyn, the indictment says.

The case was assigned to Choose William Kuntz and no date has been set for James’ arraignment.
