Tracy Tate, a mom from Columbus, Ohio, misplaced her son to gun violence in 2020.
Tracy isn't alone in her grief. The gun murder price in the US rose 35 % within the first 12 months of the pandemic.
Whereas grappling together with her loss, Tracy finds assist and neighborhood by means of Moms of Murdered Columbus Youngsters (MOMCC). The group was based in response to a record-breaking variety of homicides in Columbus in 2020 and 2021 and offers sources to moms who've misplaced a toddler to murder.
