Spirit plane towed after brakes overheat, ignite

ATLANTA — Passengers aboard a Spirit Airways flight from Tampa are secure after one of many airplane’s brakes overheated and briefly caught fireplace upon touchdown in Atlanta on Sunday, airport officers stated.

Spirit Airline stated one of many brakes on the airplane overheated. No passengers have been injured, the airline stated.
