An irate man was arrested after he threw a brick at an ambulance after which fought with cops in Queens on Monday evening, police stated.
The ambulance was referred to as to forty fifth Avenue and Vernon Boulevard in Lengthy Island Metropolis at round 9 p.m. for a person with a laceration to his wrist.
However Jose Vazquez, 46, threw a brick on the automobile, damaging considered one of its home windows, in line with cops.
“When EMS responded, he turned irate and started to behave out,” a police spokeswoman stated.
Vazquez allegedly punched and kicked the officers whereas refusing to be cuffed, police stated.
Two cops and one EMT suffered minor accidents, officers stated.
Vazquez was arrested and charged with three counts of assault on a police officer, prison mischief, resisting arrest and harassment, police stated. He was taken to Cornell Hospital for analysis.
