A California mom attacked in a parking zone along with her little one in her arms is voicing her outrage after a cost towards the suspect was reportedly dismissed.
“I’m attempting to determine why she’s not being held liable for hitting a 1-year-old little one,” Clarissa Guevara instructed KTTV-TV on Wednesday after the cost was dropped towards the feminine suspect, who was seen on video attacking Guevara in a Hemet, California, parking zone as she clutched her younger little one. “I’m attempting my hardest to have my child’s voice heard.”
Guevara says the incident, which occurred six months in the past and led to a misdemeanor little one endangerment cost towards the suspect, stemmed from a home concern that a former buddy of hers was upset about.
On Monday, KTTV-TV reported that the cost towards the lady was dropped by the Riverside County Superior Courtroom resulting from lack of courtroom house.
The county has reportedly dismissed greater than 200 prison circumstances resulting from lack of house, citing a backlog from the coronavirus shutdown and a scarcity of judges.
Guevara instructed KTTV-TV that she continues to be struggling to deal with the emotional toll of the assault, which was caught on surveillance video.
“That scream I heard that day, I'd always remember that screaming,” Guevara instructed the outlet concerning the assault in Hemet, roughly 90 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
“She punched my daughter within the face,” Guevara added. “My 1-year-old daughter.”
