A Florida police officer reacted triumphantly after a Ok-9 assisted deputies in apprehending a housebreaking suspect.
Deputy Brady Bergeron and Ok-9, Toki, acquired a name at 4 a.m. on Friday to help the Daytona Seaside Shores Division of Public Security to find a housebreaking suspect.
The Volusia Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned the suspect entered a house round 3 a.m. and fled the scene when confronted by deputies.
Physique digicam footage exhibits Bergeron and Toki monitoring down suspect Jon Winter, 47, who was cowering in a storage closet of one other house.
Toki led the best way and bit Winter’s wrists. The Ok-9 dragged the suspect into the open, permitting officers to take the suspect into custody.
“Whoo wee, Toki!” Bergeron excitedly informed the Ok-9. “Good boy, Toki-man!”
On the scene, Winter was handled for minor canine chew accidents. Winter stays in custody on the Volusia County Department Jail.
