Lee Zeldin and Kathy Hochul to face-off Tuesday after weeks of calls for multiple debates

Republican nominee for governor Lee Zeldin will face off in opposition to Gov. Kathy Hochul on Tuesday — in what’s more likely to be their solely debate forward of the Nov. 8 election, he confirmed Sunday.

The candidates will meet Tempo College at 7 p.m. for the one-hour debate set to air on Spectrum Information.

Zeldin, a member of Congress from Lengthy Island, has for weeks been calling on the weakened Democratic incumbent to conform to a number of debates. He revealed his determination to take part close to the top of an 366-word assertion Sunday, once more calling her a “coward” for insisting on only one face-to-face match-up.
