  • Russia has appointed military common Valery Gerasimov to steer its struggle efforts in Ukraine, successfully demoting Sergei Surovikin solely three months after he was tasked with overseeing what Moscow calls a “particular navy operation”.
  • The Wagner group says it has captured all the jap salt mining city of Soledar and killed about 500 Ukrainian troopers after heavy combating. Ukraine denies the city has fallen and says combating continues.
