Strippers unlawfully fired from LA topless bar, labor board says

A Los Angeles space topless bar violated federal regulation when it laid off three unique dancers and locked out 15 different strippers who launched a unionization drive to protest hazardous circumstances, the Nationwide Labor Relations Board dominated.

The NLRB regional workplace in LA filed a criticism which states that the strippers’ claims that they had been pressured by the Star Backyard dive bar in North Hollywood to work in poor security circumstances has advantage, the Los Angeles Instances reported.

In latest months, the dancers have picketed the jiggle joint — with some carrying indicators that learn “Twerking Class Heroes” and “Energy to the Strippers.”

The strippers alleged that they had been pressured to work in a membership that commonly had damaged glass on the ground, furnishings with mattress bugs, infestation of rats and cockroaches, rusty nails protruding on stage, and white substances falling from the ceiling.

“The Star Backyard dancers concertedly raised issues about their well being and security, and the employer unlawfully retaliated towards them as a result of they did so,” NLRB spokesperson Kayla Blado informed the LA Instances.
